Sapphire Cove moves toward opening

With site work in process and model permits secured, developers are moving toward the start of construction in early 2018 for Sapphire Cove, a new residential community being developed off Collier Boulevard in South Naples.

“We are excited that Sapphire Cove is nearing the point where visitors will begin to see the results of months of preparation,” said David E. Torres, developer and principal in Lord’s Way 30 LLC, an affiliate of FL Star. “This community will complement the residential neighborhoods and commercial entities that are making this part of Naples a vibrant and most desirable area.”

Sapphire Cove is an intimate community designed to appeal to a mixture of family-oriented and active adult lifestyles. The 30-acre site will include only 75 single-family homes on lots measuring 57 feet wide by 140 feet deep. The community is bordered by a preserve and is centered around a 3-acre lake fringed with native grasses and vegetation.

“We have created a selection of eight home plans that are designed to accommodate the needs and lifestyle of a variety of families,” Torres noted. “Single-story and two-story designs are available, ranging from a home with two bedrooms and a study in 2,041 square feet to an expansive plan with four bedrooms and three-and-one-half baths in 3,178 square feet.”

Each home includes interior finishes, such as granite counter tops, undermount sinks and stainless steel appliances. A swimming pool is available as an option. State-of-the-art construction and attention to detail by Fl Star Construction assures each home is of the highest quality.

The heart of Sapphire Cove activity will be the community clubhouse with a fitness center and a resort-style pool.

“The location of Sapphire Cove offers residents an abundance of enrichment and educational opportunities in addition to those on site,” Torres said. “Nearby Serenity Park and the Collier Boulevard bike trail provide options for the outdoor enthusiast. The 80-acre campus of Florida Southwestern State College is just down the road, where residents may take a course or simply enjoy sports or a performance. And for medical care, Physicians Regional Hospital and an array of other medical facilities are located right on Collier Boulevard. There is literally something for everyone.”

Construction of the first models at Sapphire Cove is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2018. The property is part of the Hacienda Lakes Community Development District and is accessed via the Lord’s Way, ½-mile east of Collier Boulevard, north of Rattlesnake-Hammock Road.
